how dawnlet treats your data

Dawnlet ("the app") is a personal day-organizer app developed by Aly Badawy. This page explains what data Dawnlet collects, how it's used, and what it doesn't do.
What Dawnlet collects
When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, Dawnlet stores an internal account ID and Apple's per-app identifier for your account. Dawnlet does not store your name or email address, even though Apple's sign-in dialog may offer to share them.
Todos, habits, journal entries, weekly notes, and financial data (transactions, categories, budgets, recurring bills) you enter are stored on Dawnlet's server, tied to your account, so they sync across your sessions.
What Dawnlet does not collect
If you enable this sync (a Dawnlet Plus feature), event and reminder data is read on your device only and displayed in the app. It is never sent to or stored on Dawnlet's server, and Dawnlet never modifies your Calendar or Reminders.
Dawnlet Plus is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Dawnlet's server has no knowledge of your purchase or payment details.
Dawnlet does not access or collect location data, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprinting.
Dawnlet contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Nothing about your usage is shared with third parties.
Data deletion
You can delete individual items (todos, habits, journal entries, transactions, etc.) directly in the app at any time, or permanently delete your entire account and everything in it from Settings — no need to contact anyone.
Children's privacy
Dawnlet is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
